14th July - Maraca's Otra Vision
Considered as one of the hottest names in Afro-Cuban music, Orlando 'Maraca' Valle is highly appreciated for his spontaneously celebratory, rhythmically complex, lyrically clever, instrumentally thrilling music that embraces Latin jazz, the most danceable tropical rhythms and his spectacular live performances with his band, Maraca's Otra Vision.
3rd July - Cenk Erdoğan Trio & Tineke Postma
Young Turkish musician Cengiz Erdoğan, a blooming talent with a virtuosity with several guitar types, with his trio will accompany the Dutch female sax player and jazz composer Tineke Postma.
8th July - SMV
A unique trio anticipated to come together since fifteen years, the lords of the low frequencies trod on a wide range of jazz, and funk, to ambient and classic. Legends of bass guitar, Clarke, Miller and Wooten first played together in 2007, and their collaboration as SMV has come to fruition with the 2008 album, Thunder.
2nd July - Fatih Erkoç & Kerem Görsev Trio
The 16th edition of the International İstanbul Jazz festival opens with a delightful concert that will bring together two of the most well-known musicians of Turkey: multi-instrumentalist-vocalist Fatih Erkoç and Turkey's most important jazz pianist, Kerem Görsev.

His most consistent output over the years has taken place in the trio format, and the Brad Mehldau Trio, juxtaposing extremes, will perform tunes including Mehldau's own compositions and covers of well-known songs.
